Martin Kemp is the latest star to go full-on Liam Neeson in the upcoming action film ‘Age of Kill’.
In an exclusive trailer for Digital Spy, the former EastEnders star plays disgraced special ops sniper Sam Blake who is forced to work for terrorists after they kidnap his daughter.
Danny Dyer’s daughter Dani plays the role of Sam’s daughter in the British action flick.
Dexter Fletcher, Philip Davis, Patrick Bergin, Anouska Mond, April Pearson, Bruce Payne, Lucy Pinder and Nick Moran also feature in the film, which will be released at cinemas, and VOD on June 12.
Spandau Ballet’s Kemp said of his new film: “I am very excited to have had the opportunity to play this role and hope audiences enjoy it as much as I did.”
Kemp is the latest actor to do a Taken-style action movie, with other recent examples including Pierce Brosnan’s November Man, Keanu Reeves’s John Wick, Sean Penn’s The Gunman and Kevin Costner’s 3 Days to Kill.
